About Us

"Above all, serve your customer with hard work and honesty."

William "Mack" McAdam
 EMP Founder, 1943

Our Beginning

Electronic Machine Parts, LLC ("EMP") was founded with the goal of manufacturing quality, affordable registration systems for businesses in and around the New York City metro area. Already an active converter in the plastic and printing industry, EMP's founder William "Mack" McAdam struggled to find a reliable system to keep his operation in register, so in the true American way, he set about developing it himself. EMP was setup as a separate entity to his converting business and eventually, due to the success of the Model 102, EMP became Mack's sole focus. With his full attention, business grew and by the early 1960s EMP was regularly shipping units to Germany and the rest of the world.

 Where We Are Today

EMP has gone through several technological revolutions, but none as important as the development of Servo technology. An early adopter, EMP has thrived by engineering innovative yet simple-to-use systems that optimize the time and ability of operators. Our decades of experience in registration control translate into a dependable product that customers trust and rely on.

Though the technology may have changed, certain things at EMP never will. EMP is still operated by the McAdam family and with the same drive and work ethic that Mack inspired upon EMP employees of the past. Before business schools coined the term "Mission Statement," Mack operated EMP under the simple motto you see at the top of the page. We carry his legacy on by honoring that motto to ensure our customers receive the same quality service today as they did 60 years ago.

Partnering & Product Development

While literally pushing the envelope of the printing industry, EMP's versatility and experience has enabled us to develop solutions in previously un-entered and unrelated markets. We operate a highly skilled and experienced manufacturing facility that through various partnerships has produced everything from programmable medical carts to cardboard shredders. We enjoy the challenge that a new opportunity presents and approach each project individually due to the attention and time that a successful solution requires.
